The Role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Civil Structural Designer (SP3D) with a proven track record in creating Offshore Civil Structural design layouts and 3D models using Smart Plant 3D (SP3D) software to support engineering and construction projects for a high-profile client. The role involves detailed engineering design, preparation of construction and fabrication deliverables, interdisciplinary coordination, model reviews, and ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and applicable international codes. The successful candidate will support the Central Engineering Division in delivering safe, accurate, constructible, and clash-free engineering solutions for offshore platforms, topsides, jackets, modules, pipe racks, and associated structural facilities. Expected: • Diploma or Bachelor s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline • Minimum 10 15 years of experience in structural design and drafting within the oil & gas industry • Proven experience working on ADNOC offshore projects or similar Middle East offshore developments is highly preferred • Strong hands-on expertise in SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) is mandatory • Proficiency in related tools such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other 3D review platforms • Extensive experience in offshore structural systems including jackets, topsides, pipe racks, platforms, and modules • Sound understanding of offshore design practices, fabrication methodologies, and installation constraints • Familiarity with international codes and standards (e.g., AISC, BS, API, ISO) and ADNOC engineering standards • Strong coordination skills with multi-disciplinary engineering teams • Ability to work in a fast-paced EPC/EPCM/PMC environment on multi-billion-dollar offshore projects • Good communication skills and ability to interface with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders • Prior experience within a central engineering or shared services environment is an advantage.
