Senior Accountant

Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledger reconciliations Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely financial reporting Produce monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis Perform bank reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments schedules Manage accounts payable and receivable activities, including aged receivables tracking Process bank payments, supplier invoices, and employee expense reimbursements Assist with preparation and submission of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filings Support external audit processes, including coordination and documentation Maintain and enhance internal financial controls and process documentation Contribute to ERP implementation projects, including testing and post-implementation support Liaise with internal teams, banks, and external service providers to support finance operations Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting support as required Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners Candidates must be currently based in the UAE 3-6 years of accounting experience, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge Experience with MS Dynamics systems is mandatory Exposure to VAT, UAE Corporate Tax, and audit processes is advantageous Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CPA, either completed or in progress Advanced Excel skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines Proactive and hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
