Scaffolding Supervisor

Role & responsibilities Supervise the erection, alteration, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding systems. Allocate daily work activities to scaffolders and monitor productivity. Ensure scaffolding is erected according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Conduct pre-use and routine scaffold inspections to ensure structural integrity and safety. Verify that all scaffolding components are in good condition before use. Coordinate with construction, maintenance, and safety teams to meet project schedules. Ensure compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and site safety procedures. Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for the scaffolding team. Identify and eliminate unsafe conditions and stop unsafe work practices. Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Vocational Qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 58 years of scaffolding experience, including 23 years as a Scaffolding Supervisor . Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Power Plant, Industrial Construction, or Infrastructure Projects . Strong knowledge of tube-and-fitting, modular, system, and mobile scaffolding. Ability to read scaffold drawings and work from engineering specifications. Familiarity with international scaffolding standards and HSE requirements. Experience supervising teams of scaffolders in large industrial projects. Good leadership, planning, and communication skills. Physically fit and capable of working at heights.
