SAP FICO Consultant SAP S/4HANA

Job Overview We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient SAP FICO Consultant for a permanent, full-time opportunity in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate must possess extensive hands-on expertise in both SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) , with proven experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects. The role requires advanced functional expertise in Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Results Analysis, and Project System (PS) , along with strong knowledge of end-to-end financial processes, cross-module integration, and SAP best practices. We are specifically looking for candidates who can join immediately or within a maximum of 30 days. Key Responsibilities 1. SAP Financial Accounting (FI) • Configure, implement, and support SAP FI modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting. • Manage financial closing activities, reconciliations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance requirements. • Support financial process optimization, troubleshooting, and system enhancements. • Ensure seamless integration of FI with other SAP modules. 2. SAP Controlling (CO) • Demonstrate advanced expertise in Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing. • Configure and support Controlling processes aligned with organizational requirements. • Work extensively with SAP Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) , including costing-based and account-based approaches, with particular emphasis on S/4HANA Margin Analysis. • Demonstrate strong hands-on experience in Results Analysis , including configuration, valuation methods, revenue recognition-related processes, and period-end activities. • Manage integration between FI, CO, and other relevant SAP modules. 3. SAP Project System (PS) • Possess extensive functional expertise in SAP Project System (PS), particularly its integration with FI and CO. • Work with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project budgeting, cost planning, actual cost tracking, and settlement processes. • Configure and support project-related financial controlling, Results Analysis, and period-end settlement. • Ensure effective financial reporting and cost control across project lifecycles. 4. SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Support • Participate in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. • Conduct business requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and functional specification preparation. • Support data migration, integration testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover, and hypercare activities. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional SAP consultants. • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes through SAP S/4HANA capabilities. Mandatory Requirements • Extensive hands-on functional experience in both SAP FI and SAP CO . Expertise in only one module will not be sufficient. • Participation in at least two SAP S/4HANA implementation projects , with significant hands-on FICO responsibilities. • Strong practical experience in SAP CO-PA (Profitability Analysis) . • Proven expertise in SAP Results Analysis , including configuration and business process execution. • Strong functional expertise in SAP Project System (PS) and FI/CO/PS integration. • Comprehensive understanding of financial accounting, management accounting, financial reporting, and period-end closing. • Ability to independently handle complex SAP FICO requirements, configurations, and business discussions. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Availability to join immediately or within a maximum of 30 days. Additional Skills Preferred Candidates with hands-on experience in the following areas will have an added advantage: Additional SAP Finance Modules • SAP Funds Management (FM) • SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) • SAP Cash Management and Liquidity Management • SAP Banking and Financial Supply Chain Management • SAP Group Reporting and financial consolidation • Other SAP finance-related modules and functionalities Cross-Module Integration Expertise Practical experience with SAP FICO integration across the following modules is highly desirable: • SAP Materials Management (MM): Procure-to-Pay (P2P), automatic account determination, inventory valuation, goods movement accounting, GR/IR clearing, and invoice verification. • SAP Sales and Distribution (SD): Order-to-Cash (O2C), revenue accounting, billing integration, pricing conditions, tax determination, and accounts receivable postings. • SAP Transportation Management (TM): Transportation cost calculation, freight settlement, accruals, financial postings, and integration with FI/CO. • SAP Human Capital Management (HCM): Payroll-to-FI posting, cost center allocation, personnel cost accounting, and integration with financial and controlling processes. Candidates demonstrating strong end-to-end business process understanding and hands-on cross-functional integration experience will be given preference. Candidates with proven FICO cross-module integration expertise in MM, SD, TM, and HCM will have a distinct advantage. The successful candidate must be technically sound, business-oriented, and capable of delivering high-quality SAP solutions in a demanding enterprise environment.
