The Retail Sales Representative is a customer-focused role primarily responsible for generating sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This includes greeting customers warmly, providing knowledgeable assistance, maintaining high visual and housekeeping standards, and supporting store operations when necessary. Success in this role is measured by meeting sales goals, compliance with company policies, and demonstrating teamwork and flexibility within the organizational context. What You Will Do: Customer Service • Maintain a high level of customer service at all times. • Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere greeting. • Provide current and relevant information about products to customers. • Provide quality service in fitting rooms and follow up with customers promptly. • Thank customers sincerely as they exit the store and invite them to return. Store Operations • Assist Store Manager with day-to-day store operations including opening, closing, and management cover. • Run the store in the absence of the Store Manager if required. • Ensure compliance with in-store procedures regarding pricing and ticketing. • Train new staff on Point of Sale (POS) operations and handle corrective actions at the POS. • Deal with customer issues at the POS to ensure uninterrupted customer service. Housekeeping and Presentation • Maintain store standards and cleanliness to provide an organized environment. • Perform housekeeping duties as required. • Maintain cleanliness at the cash wrap area. • Adhere to dress code and create a positive first impression for customers. • Participate in all inventories and store meetings. Sales Goals and Merchandise • Meet or exceed weekly sales goals. • Represent a positive attitude toward merchandise, the brand, and the company. • Offer gift cards and capture customer information in the database. • Attempt to add on to sales efficiently. Required Skills To Be Successful: • Excellent customer service skills • Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) operations • Strong organizational skills • Flexibility to work varied hours and adapt to change What Qualifies You For The Role: • High School Degree • 1-2 years of retail sales experience • Good verbal communication skills • Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours • An eye for fashion trends • Friendly demeanor • Ability for some heavy lifting
