Safety Officer - Walkin Chennai

• Conduct thorough site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. • Develop and implement comprehensive safety procedures, emergency response plans, and accident prevention strategies tailored to the Chennai work environment. • Investigate all workplace accidents, near misses, and safety incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. • Deliver engaging safety training sessions to all employees, covering topics like hazard communication, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and emergency protocols. • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. • Hold a certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in safety principles. • Have a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in safety management, preferably within the construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors in India. • Demonstrate proficiency in understanding and applying Indian safety regulations (e.g., Factories Act, Building and Other Construction Workers Act). Eligibility Criteria ✔ Experience in Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore ✔ Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred ✔ Clean-shaven policy applicable ❌ Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible Age Criteria: • Maximum age limit is 49 years • For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience Managerial and SR. Positions: • A minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory
