Key Responsibilities: -
• Ensure all site personnel attend site induction before commencing work.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and report findings to project/site management.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate safety records, reports, permits, and documentation in line with company standards and audit requirements.
• Promote health and safety awareness among employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety training sessions, and awareness programs.
• Ensure all statutory health and safety documentation is available and up to date on project sites.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Support incident, accident, and near-miss investigations and prepare detailed reports.
• Liaise with Project Managers and site teams on all health and safety matters.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor implementation of safe work practices and set a personal example of safe behavior.
• Assist the Health & Safety Manager in achieving project safety objectives and compliance targets.
Required Qualification: -
• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• NEBOSH IGC certification is preferred.
• Additional safety certifications (IOSH, OSHA, First Aid, Fire Safety) will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of UAE health & safety regulations and construction safety standards.
