Road Design Engineer

• Develop horizontal and vertical geometric alignments for highways, local roads, and intersections. • Utilize Civil 3D to create detailed corridor models, grading plans, and cross-sections. • Conduct road safety audits and ensure designs comply with local authority manuals (e.g., RTA, DMT, DDA). • Manage utility coordination to resolve clashes between road profiles and underground networks. • Prepare technical reports, pavement design justifications, and traffic signage/marking layouts. • Liaise with local government authorities for design approvals and NOCs. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. • Minimum 5+ years of experience in road/highway design consultancy. • Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (Corridors, Grading, Assemblies). • Strong knowledge of AASHTO, DMRB, and local authority road design manuals. • Experience in intersection design, roundabout geometry, and pavement marking/signage design. • Proven track record in securing project approvals from local authorities. • Must be in the UAE.
