Risk & Actuarial Assistant

To provide assistance and support in the day to day running of the risk & Actuarial function and assist the members of the team with their duties as required in order to help the company achieve its business objectives in relations to its actuarial and risk responsibilities. Reserving • Assist in Quarterly Actuarial Reserving Calculations. • Assist in preparing relevant sections of Annual Regulatory Actuarial Reports. • Provide assistance on capital model parameters/calibration process. Pricing • Assist in development and testing of facultative pricing tools. • Assist on governance, monitoring and documentation for all pricing tools. • Assist on development and testing of treaty pricing tools assist in retro pricing Analysis. Business Planning • Assist in Forecasting Models Development. • Assist in Risk Budget Modelling and reports. • Assist in planning scenarios. Cat Modelling and Monitoring • Data Preparation. • Assist and provide support in External CAT Modelling process monitoring. • Assist in the preparation of relevant sections of the CAT & Aggregate Monitoring Report. • Assist and provide support in Aggregates/Exposure (Limit) monitoring. Rating Models • Assist and provide support in quarterly Dryruns of AM best and S&P models. ERM • Assist in implementing and communicating the company s ERM framework. • Coordinate risk assessment meetings with Risk owners and assist in the Risk Assessment process. • Assist in comprehensive risk analysis as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business. • Gather risk related data from internal or external resources. • Assist in the documentation and communication of key risks. • Assist in the formulation and update of various sections of the Risk Management policy. • Contributing with insight and research to relevant risk reports and assisting in the preparation of such reports. • Provide required assistance in ERM related projects. • Assist in the documentation of Risk Management system of governance. • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Risk Appetite • Assist in the update and documentation of the company s Risk Appetite. • Contribute in the design of scenarios and stress tests. • Assist in the update of risk control tolerance report. Risk Register • Assist in regularly updating and maintaining the Company s enterprise Wide Risk registers via • The GRC system as part of a quarterly Risk assessment review process. • Assist in structuring and drafting a Risk register report. • Provide support in the implementation of the RML process. • Assist in risk control measures monitoring and reporting. Policy, Process and Procedures • Assist in reviewing and monitoring company policies, processes and procedures (PPPs) and Compliance to standards.
