Retail Showroom Manager / Showroom Manager

The Showroom Manager leads the showroom team to deliver sales targets and an excellent customer experience. The role manages daily store operations, cash and inventory control, and staff performance in line with company policies and the approved governance framework, while identifying new opportunities to grow the company's products and services. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES • Schedule and assign staff, follow up on work results and conduct daily briefings • Update staff on new developments, rules and policy changes • Manage store administration: incident reports, financial reports and stock take • Ensure proper shift and store handover • Achieve store sales and customer experience targets • Follow the approved governance and process framework • Recommend the right products and services to customers • Handle customer complaints and manage escalations to other departments • Identify new business opportunities to grow sales • Control cash handling with no discrepancies by end of day • Report any cash or stock discrepancies immediately • Conduct a full weekly inventory and stock take • Approve and accept the right stock items and quantities • Maintain inventory levels and ensure merchandise availability • Report any misconduct or suspected fraud to the line manager • Coach, counsel and motivate the retail sales team • Take disciplinary action when required • Plan, monitor and appraise staff performance • Keep up to date through workshops, publications and professional networks • Bachelor's degree in any discipline • 3–5 years of retail experience, preferably 3 years as Showroom / Store Manager • Minimum 1–2 years of managerial or supervisory experience • Proven track record of achieving sales and customer service targets • Hands-on experience in cash handling, stock control and inventory management • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team • Excellent customer handling and complaint resolution skills • Self-motivated and able to take initiative • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • Passion for communications technology and retail • Good knowledge of store administration and reporting • Mobility within the local area (UAE driving licence preferred) • Available to join immediately or within a short notice period
