Responsibilities:
• Manage project dependencies and ensure site readiness for deployment.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including project management, engineering teams, and customers.
• Provide technical leadership during field integration and testing phases.
• Troubleshoot complex design issues and develop innovative solutions to overcome physical and optical limitations.
• Generate detailed technical documentation and support handover processes.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of specialized hands-on experience in Optical Transport Networks with a focus on DWDM and OTN architectures.
• Proficiency in optical network planning, simulation, and dimensioning tools
• Mastery of optical link engineering, OSNR calculations, non-linear impairment analysis, CD, and PMD evaluations
• Advanced expertise in coherent optical transmission and modulation formats
• Strong competence in DCN design and planning including IP addressing schemes and routing protocols
• Ability to evaluate site readiness variances against theoretical designs
