Resident Engineer / Construction Manager

• Lead and manage all on-site construction and supervision activities. • Ensure project execution is in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations. • Coordinate with the Client, Contractor, Design Consultants, and other stakeholders. • Monitor construction progress and ensure achievement of project milestones. • Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submissions. • Ensure compliance with quality assurance and quality control procedures. • Conduct regular site inspections and monitor HSE compliance. • Chair progress meetings and prepare project reports. • Identify project risks and recommend mitigation measures. • Review contractor claims, variations, and extension of time requests. • Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and handover of project facilities. • Mentor and guide site supervision teams and discipline engineers. • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering only. • Professional Engineering registration/certification is an advantage. • Minimum 15 years of total professional experience in engineering, construction, and project supervision. • Minimum 5 years of consultancy experience in a Resident Engineer and/or Construction Manager role. • Proven experience in the construction and supervision of at least one or more of the following: • Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) • Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) • Water Treatment Plants (WTP) • Water Purification Plants/Projects (WPP) • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure and utility projects within the GCC region is highly preferred. • Demonstrated experience in project commissioning, testing, and final handover. • Strong leadership and project management capabilities. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Sound knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions. • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and engineering standards. • Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in MS Office, Primavera P6, and project reporting tools. • Fluent in both Arabic and English. • Nationality Requirement • Arabic Nationality is mandatory.
