Refurbishment Specialist

• Conduct complete vehicle inspections including mechanical, electrical, body, chassis, suspension, air conditioning, and interior assessments. • Perform detailed visual and functional inspections to identify defects, damages, and operational issues. • Carry out road tests to evaluate vehicle performance, drivability, handling, braking, and overall condition. • Prepare comprehensive inspection and condition reports in accordance with company SOPs. • Capture and document vehicle defects with accurate descriptions, photographs, and supporting evidence. • Assess vehicle refurbishment requirements and recommend necessary repairs or replacements. • Verify vehicle specifications, features, and overall condition before refurbishment or sale. • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools and testing equipment. • Perform minor repairs, servicing, maintenance, and component replacement activities as required. • Inspect and evaluate engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, cooling, and electrical systems. • Support refurbishment activities to ensure vehicles meet company quality standards. • Coordinate with workshop teams regarding repair requirements and technical findings. • Ensure repairs and maintenance activities are completed according to manufacturer and company standards. • Verify the quality and effectiveness of repairs before vehicle delivery or handover. • Conduct post-repair inspections to confirm corrective actions have been completed successfully. • Ensure refurbishment work meets established quality, safety, and appearance standards. • Identify recurring technical issues and provide recommendations for process improvements. • Support vehicle grading, certification, and quality assurance activities. • Maintain consistency in inspection standards across all vehicle categories and brands. • Ensure vehicles are ready for sale, transfer, or customer delivery in line with company requirements. • Maintain accurate inspection records, technical reports, and service documentation. • Ensure all findings are properly recorded in company systems and reporting platforms. • Follow company inspection procedures, quality guidelines, and safety regulations. • Support internal audits and quality reviews related to vehicle inspections and refurbishment activities. • Ensure proper handling and maintenance of diagnostic tools and workshop equipment. • Adhere to workplace health, safety, and environmental standards at all times. • Collaborate with procurement, refurbishment, sales, and workshop teams to ensure smooth vehicle processing. • Provide technical insights and recommendations regarding vehicle condition and repair requirements. • Maintain high levels of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail. • Ensure timely completion of inspections, reports, and assigned technical tasks. • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to vehicle inspection and refurbishment processes. • Experience in used-car inspection environments is highly preferred. • Experience with OEM dealerships, authorized service centers, or automotive workshops. • Multi-brand vehicle inspection and diagnostic experience is essential. • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems. • Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic equipment and inspection tools. • Ability to prepare accurate technical reports and inspection documentation. • Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory. • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
