Receptionist

Job Description • Is available to register, process and greet customers promptly. • Checks the daily arrival list. • Welcomes customers to the hotel. • Responds to customer requests for information about the hotel and its surroundings. • Arranges for special services requested by the customer. • Stays current with developments in the hotel by reviewing the communication; updates log book and prepares for next shift. • Provide personalized, courteous service and information to guests. • Follows-up and verifies arrivals by updating registration cards in regards to spelling of guest s name, address and method of payment. • Handles incoming guest room reservations. • Maximize customer satisfaction and utilization of hotel facilities by promoting hotel outlets and other facilities to guests. • Is aware, at all times, of current room status and room availability. • Is fully aware of, and knows how to handle, all current and future hotel promotions. • Adhere to Hotel and corporate guidelines. • Maintain confidentiality with all guest information. • Maintain up to date knowledge on events and activities in the city. • Natural attitude towards providing excellent quality service. • Previous experience in a hotel or service industry preferred. • Excellent time management and organizational skills. • Qualifications • Minimum 3/ 4 years in the same position in a 4/5 star hotel. • Natural / Smiling attitude towards providing excellent quality service. • Good command of English Language • Possess a pleasing personality. • Age 25 to 35 Years • Able to work under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment. • Guest relation oriented. • Possess strong multitasking skills. • Positive, Yes I can personality
