Real Estate Legal & Collections Specialist

* Monitor tenant and client receivables, follow up on overdue rent, service charges, and other outstanding balances in coordination with the Finance Department * Issue formal payment reminders, demand letters, and legal notices to defaulting tenants in line with Bahrain rental laws * Review, draft, and vet lease agreements, addendums, and termination notices to ensure legal compliance and protect the company's interests * Manage the end\-to\-end collections process — from first reminder through to legal escalation — and maintain an accurate aging report of outstanding balances * Represent the company before the Rental Disputes Resolution Center / relevant courts in Bahrain, or coordinate with external legal counsel where representation is required * Handle eviction proceedings for non\-paying or breaching tenants, ensuring all steps are properly documented and legally compliant * Advise management on the legal standing of disputes, contract breaches, and recommend the appropriate course of action (settlement, payment plan, or legal action) * Liaise with Property Management and Finance to ensure waivers, discounts, or settlement agreements are properly authorized, documented, and recorded * Maintain organized legal and collections files for each tenant/unit, including correspondence, notices, and court documentation * Provide monthly reporting to management on collections status, legal cases in progress, and recovery outcomes * Support the department in reviewing and strengthening internal controls to prevent recurring issues such as unrecorded waivers or missed payment follow\-ups Requirement: **Experience in real estate is required.** The candidate must have prior hands\-on experience handling tenant collections, lease disputes, and legal matters specifically within the real estate/property management sector in Bahrain — familiarity with local rental law and the Rental Disputes Resolution Center process is essential, not just general legal or collections background.
