Quantity Surveyor/cost estimator

• Prepare claims for variations, extensions of time, and other contractual entitlements. • Analyze tender submissions, ensuring compliance with specifications and identifying potential discrepancies. • Prepare and submit interim and final payment valuations, assessing work completed and certifying payments. • Maintain accurate records of all cost-related documentation, including contracts, invoices, and payment certificates. • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. • Professional qualification such as MRICS, MCIOB, or equivalent. • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in quantity surveying or cost estimation within the construction industry. • Proven expertise in using cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Candy, Buildsoft) and BIM proficiency. • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant building regulations. • Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities, both written and verbal. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. • Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of local languages is advantageous. • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
