Urgently Required: Quality E&I Inspector – COMPEX | Cross-Country Pipeline | Cathodic Protection Industry: Oil & Gas / Pipeline Projects Position: Quality E&I Inspector Experience: Relevant experience in Oil & Gas, pipeline, E&I inspection and Cathodic Protection Employment Type: Contract / Short-Term Assignment Assignment Duration: 2–3 Months Joining: Immediate Job Location: Project Site / As per Project Requirement Job Description We are urgently looking for an experienced Quality E&I Inspector for a short-term Oil & Gas project involving cross-country pipeline activities, Cathodic Protection (CP) systems and COMPEX-related inspection requirements. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in quality inspection, electrical and instrumentation activities, pipeline projects, and Cathodic Protection systems, along with knowledge of applicable project specifications, quality standards and inspection procedures. Key Responsibilities • Perform Quality Inspection and Quality Assurance (QA/QC) activities for Electrical & Instrumentation works associated with Oil & Gas and cross-country pipeline projects. • Inspect and verify Cathodic Protection (CP) systems, including installation, testing and commissioning activities, as applicable to the project scope. • Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, inspection checklists and quality documentation. • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes and client requirements. • Conduct site inspections and verify installation quality of electrical and instrumentation equipment, cables, instruments and associated systems. • Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, commissioning and client inspection teams. • Identify non-conformities, prepare inspection reports and follow up on corrective actions. • Verify inspection records, test reports and quality dossiers before project handover. • Ensure compliance with applicable hazardous-area requirements and COMPEX competency requirements, where relevant to the assigned scope. Candidate Requirements • Relevant experience as a Quality E&I Inspector in the Oil & Gas industry. • Hands-on experience with cross-country pipeline projects and Cathodic Protection systems. • Relevant COMPEX qualification/certification or competency, as required by the project. • Good understanding of E&I inspection procedures, quality standards, ITPs and project specifications. • Experience in site inspection, testing, documentation and coordination with client representatives. • Ability to join immediately and work on a short-term contract assignment.
