Quality Assurance or Quality Control (Food Industry)

**Job description** We are looking for a Quality Control Officer in the food industry who can develop and revise plans and procedures for testing food quality. He/She maintains standards by verifying tests and ISO audits comply with food safety regulations and requirements. He/She develops standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with the regulations and good manufacturing practices (GMPs). He/She also develops regulatory requirements and guidelines in food safety management and control, such as ISO standards and Hazards and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system. **Responsibilities** Visiting the central kitchen and Cafe outlets for inspections of prominent bacteria's in meat items, Pathogens in Seafood (parasites, eggs, vibrio), product quality, food safety, sanitation Perform quality control checks and generate QC reports for incoming and outgoing products to ensure that they meet quality and safety standards in accordance to SFA's regulations Perform sensory evaluation for incoming raw materials to ensure consistent quality and for product improvement Handling Auditing and Revising of ISO documents, Preparing and updating the processes Conduct QC inspection for ISO Audits, Food Sample checks and customer feedbacks Provide technical and quality related assistance to other departments, assist in marketing department’s recipe, videos and photo shoot when required Perform regular internal and external product quality control and monitor their quality so as to provide timely feedback to category/supplier for improvement Compile/archive QC report related documents Assist to maintain, source and purchase QC equipment and consumables when required Assist in product development or product improvement sensory evaluation preparations when required Assist sales or other departments with product specification, certification and quality related document requests **Requirements and skills** Minimum Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology or related disciplines At least 3 \- 5 years of relevant working experience in the food industry QA/QC environment, Inspections, Auditing and reporting Analysis, ISO Standards, GMP, OPR, Auditing, Preparing, updating and implementation Possess good interpersonal skills, self\-motivated \& methodical Possesses excellent analytical skills and sound judgement to establish critical guidelines, parameters and procedures Should work well in a team and possess strong communication skills to interact with and guide others effectively Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel \& PowerPoint) Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent Application Question(s): * What is your nationality? * What is your age? * What is your current Salary? * What is your notice period to join? * Are you in Kuwait? * What kind of visa do you have (Ahli, Small projects, Factory, VIP, Visa 22 etc) Work Location: In person
