JD for QHSE Manager • Implement QHSE Policies: Update and implement the QHSE Policy, procedures and QHSE Objectives. • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure all employees of the organization comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, standards and that of the customer if any. Be up-to-date with changing regulations / laws and ensuring the organization's practices align with them. • Risk Assessment: Identify potential hazards and risks and develop mitigation plans. Conducting risk assessments, job safety analysis, and environmental impact assessments, on road assessment, terminal safety & risk, risks in loading and offloading, equipment risk on site and occupational health risks etc. • Incident / Accident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, potential incidents, unsafe acts, unsafe behavior, environmental and occupational health breaches etc to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions. Responsible for vehicle and equipment inspections, certify and sign off before every vehicle goes for delivery on day -to- day basis. • Training: Develop and deliver training to educate drivers and operators on QHSE practices. Conduct tool box meetings on regular basis. This also includes induction, refresher, third party , first aid , driver and operator training etc. • Emergency Response Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and contingency plans for various scenarios such as road accidents, accidents on site, fires, oil/ chemical spills etc. • Audit and Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and audits of vehicles, tanks, cranes , trailers AWP etc and processes to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards. Implement corrective actions as necessary. Includes certification body audits and customer audits. On road and site inspections. • Customer Complaints: Document and record all customer complaints and take corrective and preventive actions. • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records related to QHSE activities, incidents, training, and compliance. Prepare reports for management and customers as required. • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in quality, health, safety, and environmental performance. Implement initiatives to improve overall QHSE performance. • Communication: Promote QHSE awareness and responsibility among employees. Ensure that information related to safety, quality, and environmental issues is effectively communicated throughout the organization. • Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of QHSE programs and track progress over time.
