QC Technician – Quality Lab

• Conduct quality testing and inspection of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products. • Perform laboratory tests for thermoplastics, polymers, and masterbatch products. • Monitor production quality and report non-conformities to the Production team. • Maintain QC records, test reports, and issue Certificates of Analysis (COA) and Certificates of Conformance (COC). • Prepare and update SOPs, work instructions, and ISO-related documentation. • Support root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and customer complaint investigations. • Coordinate laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance, and repairs. • Maintain 5S, laboratory safety, chemical handling, and environmental compliance. • Education: Degree, diploma, or technical qualification in Polymer Science, Chemistry, or a related field. • Experience: 2–5 years in plastics, polymers, masterbatch, extrusion, or a relevant manufacturing industry. • Technical Skills: Thermoplastic testing, raw material testing, laboratory equipment operation, and process quality control. • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with extruders, mixers, feeders, pelletizers, and packaging equipment. • Quality Standards: Knowledge of ISO 9001, quality documentation, RCA/CAPA, and 5S practices. • Software Skills: Intermediate MS Excel; ERP/SAP and LIMS knowledge is an advantage. • Safety: Knowledge of chemical handling, SDS/MSDS, PPE, and laboratory safety procedures. • Other Requirements: Good analytical and troubleshooting skills, communication, teamwork, and willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.
