QA/QC Inspector-Fit out & Joinery

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for improving processes to prevent defects and ensuring that products meet quality standards from the outset. This role involves continuous monitoring and assessment of manufacturing processes, compliance with industry regulations, and leading a team of inspectors across various engineering disciplines. Responsibilities * Improve processes to prevent defects before they occur, ensuring products meet quality standards from the start. * Continuously monitor and assess manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices. * Ensure that operation and maintenance processes comply with industry standards and regulations, minimizing legal and compliance risks. * Maintain consistency in production, ensuring that each product meets high\-quality standards. * Reduce waste, rework, and costs associated with faulty products by improving processes. * Identify potential risks in the manufacturing process and implement measures to mitigate them for smoother operations. * Lead a team of inspectors across civil, mechanical, and electrical departments. Requirements · 3–5 years of relevant experience in Quality Control/Quality Inspection, preferably within the furniture, joinery, woodworking, or interior fit\-out industry. · Diploma or bachelor’s degree in quality Control, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred. · Good knowledge of quality inspection procedures, standards, and documentation. · Ability to inspect materials, production processes, and finished products to ensure compliance with required quality standards. · Good understanding of furniture, wood products, joinery, and interior finishing materials will be considered an advantage. · Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and quality issues. Good communication and reporting skills.
