QA QC Engineer

• Inspect raw materials (timber, MDF, plywood, veneers, laminates, hardware, finishes) on arrival and verify them against approved submittals • Monitor quality at every stage of production: cutting, edge banding, assembly, veneering, sanding, spraying/polishing, and packing • Carry out site inspections during and after installation of doors, cabinets, wardrobes, wall cladding, vanities, and loose furniture • Prepare and maintain ITPs, method statements, checklists, and QA/QC documentation • Raise and close NCRs, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions • Coordinate with consultants and clients on inspections, material approvals, and snag lists • Make sure work complies with approved shop drawings, samples, and specifications • Work with production, site, and project teams to resolve quality issues • Support ISO 9001 quality management system requirements and internal audits • Prepare quality reports for management • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field • Minimum 2 years of QA/QC experience in the joinery/fit-out industry (UAE experience preferred) • Strong knowledge of joinery materials, finishes, hardware, and manufacturing processes • Able to read and interpret shop drawings and technical specifications • Familiar with QA/QC documentation (ITP, IR, MIR, NCR) • Comfortable working in both factory and site environments • Good communication and reporting skills in English • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage • Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
