Hiring a QA/QC Engineer in Dubai
A QA/QC Engineer on a major infrastructure or airport project in Dubai typically owns inspections across civil, structural, architectural and MEP scope, reporting into a project quality manager. The role sits at the point where design intent meets site execution: reading drawings and specifications, raising inspection requests, and closing out non-conformances with consultants before work is signed off. Demand for this role tends to spike when a mega infrastructure project moves from substructure into superstructure, since that is when reinforced concrete and structural quality control become the critical path. UAE site experience is consistently a non-negotiable requirement, given the specific consultant inspection and approval processes used locally.
Common questions
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Construction Engineering
• At least 5 years of QA/QC experience including building construction
• UAE building construction site experience
• Working knowledge of civil, architectural, finishing and MEP QC procedures
• Familiarity with UAE standards and consultant inspection processes
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications and quality documents
