Project Manager – Underground Utilities (Dubai and Al Ain)

We are recruiting for our client, an established UAE contractor specialising in underground utilities and civil infrastructure. They are building their site leadership team for new projects in Dubai and Al Ain. The role You'll lead site execution across utilities projects: sewer, stormwater, water and TSE networks, and pump stations. You'll manage site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors, and report to the Project Manager. Key responsibilities • Plan and run daily site works, resources and workfronts across one or more sites • Oversee deep excavation, shoring, dewatering and pipe laying, including trenchless works where required • Manage permits, NOCs and inspections with DEWA, RTA, DM or ADM • Lead HSE on site, including permits to work, confined space and trench safety • Track progress, costs and variations, and keep site records to support claims • Report progress, risks and decisions needed to the Project Manager Ideal qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering • 10+ years' experience, including 3+ years as Construction Manager, Site Manager or senior site lead • Strong UAE experience on underground utilities projects for a contractor • Hands-on deep excavation, shoring and dewatering • Experience managing subcontractors and authority approvals • Currently based in the UAE This is a strong next step for an experienced Senior Project Engineer or Site Manager ready to lead a full site team. • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering • 10+ years' experience, including 3+ years as Construction Manager, Site Manager or senior site lead • Strong UAE experience on underground utilities projects for a contractor • Hands-on deep excavation, shoring and dewatering • Experience managing subcontractors and authority approvals • Currently based in the UAE
