Job description

• Key Responsibilities – Project Manager (Construction) • Lead and manage construction projects from contract award through final completion and handover in accordance with contractual requirements. • Develop, implement, and obtain approval for the Project Execution Plan (PEP). • Manage and monitor the project schedule to ensure compliance with contractual milestones and completion dates. • Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets, ensuring effective cost management and project profitability. • Lead and supervise project teams, including engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors. • Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, government authorities, and other project stakeholders. • Review and approve project schedules prepared by the planning team and ensure alignment with project objectives. • Monitor construction progress and prepare periodic progress reports for senior management. • Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to address delays, technical challenges, and other project issues. • Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) standards throughout the project lifecycle. • Ensure full implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures across all project sites. • Review and approve material submittals, suppliers, and subcontractors in accordance with project specifications and contractual requirements. • Administer project contracts, including variation orders, claims, and contractual correspondence. • Review and approve shop drawings, technical submittals, and material submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements. • Monitor project cash flow in coordination with the Finance Department to maintain healthy financial performance. • Review and certify subcontractor and supplier payment applications, as well as client interim payment certificates. • Chair weekly and monthly project meetings and ensure accurate preparation and distribution of meeting minutes. • Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, local authority regulations, Civil Defence requirements, and municipal standards. • Supervise project inspections, snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning, and final project handover activities. • Prepare and oversee project closeout documentation, including As-Built Drawings, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals, warranties, and all handover documents.. • Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 15 years of experience in managing construction projects within the UAE. Experience in high-rise towers, skyscrapers, commercial buildings, or government projects. In-depth knowledge of FIDIC contracts and claims management. Familiarity with building codes and local regulations in the UAE. Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD, with the ability to read BIM models. Excellent leadership, management, and negotiation skills. Fluent in English.
