Project Engineer - Infrastructure projects

We are an EPC Engineering & Contracting company, looking for a skilled Project Engineer having hands-on experience in electrical infrastructure projects. • This role will focus on the design, implementation, and coordination of street lighting and other infrastructure projects for RTA, • Working closely with project managers, planning engineers, and consultants. • The ideal candidate should have expertise in providing accurate cost estimations, project timelines, and managing the execution of electrical works, particularly in the RTA domain. • Develop street lighting layouts, cross-sections, single-line diagrams (SLD), and cable/load schedules, collaborating with draughtsmen. Review shop drawings for accuracy before submission for approval. • Prepare Bill of Materials (BoM) based on shop drawings and site-specific requirements. • Compile and submit material submittals for approval. • Experience in applying for and obtaining NOC/LV Design approvals from DEWA related to infrastructure works. • Liaise with main contractors, consultants, RTA, and other authorities to ensure timely approvals. • Coordinate material requisitions and service requests with suppliers through SAP, ensuring timely delivery. • Collaborate with consultants and RTA for material and work inspections. • Supervise electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities on-site. • Plan manpower, equipment, and tools for installation, testing, and commissioning in advance. • Provide daily reports and coordination with the Project Manager/Site Manager. • Ensure cost-effective and timely completion of all site activities. • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (B. Tech. / BE) • 5-12 years of experience in executing electrical works for RTA infrastructure projects (e.g., street lighting, tunnel lighting, under-bridge lighting, drainage pumping stations, irrigation pumping stations). • Prior approval by RTA-RLTS/RSFM for project work is preferred. • Knowledge of lighting calculations, shop drawings, and electrical works related to underpass lighting, under-bridge lighting, CCTV systems, and traffic signal installation. • Experience with electromechanical works in drainage pumping stations. Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
