Programme Lead

About the Role: The Programme Lead will oversee a portfolio of IT, digital, transformation, cybersecurity, and operational excellence initiatives in Abu Dhabi, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and driving business value through effective programme management. This role requires a seasoned leader with 10 12 years of experience in large-scale technical and transformation programmes. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage a portfolio of IT, digital, transformation, cybersecurity, and operational excellence programmes • Define and implement programme governance, processes, and methodologies • Ensure alignment of initiatives with strategic business goals and stakeholder expectations • Monitor programme performance, risks, and budgets; drive corrective actions • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and effective stakeholder communication • Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to programme teams • Drive continuous improvement and adoption of best practices across the portfolio Required Qualifications: • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field • 10 12 years of progressive experience leading large-scale programme portfolios, including IT, digital, transformation, cybersecurity, or operational excellence • Strong technical understanding of IT infrastructure, digital technologies, and cybersecurity frameworks • Proven ability to align technical initiatives with strategic business objectives • Experience in programme governance, financial management, and risk management • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills • PMP, Prince2, or equivalent programme management certification • Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and delivering business value Preferred Qualifications: • Master s degree in a related field • Experience working in Abu Dhabi or the broader Middle East region • Agile and Lean Six Sigma certifications • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI, cloud computing, and IoT • Track record of fostering innovation and managing change in complex environments Position Details • Position Title: Programme Lead • Location: Abu Dhabi, united arab emirates • Industry: Software Engineering • Experience Required: 10+ years • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field • 10 12 years of progressive experience leading large-scale programme portfolios, including IT, digital, transformation, cybersecurity, or operational excellence • Strong technical understanding of IT infrastructure, digital technologies, and cybersecurity frameworks • Proven ability to align technical initiatives with strategic business objectives • Experience in programme governance, financial management, and risk management • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills • PMP, Prince2, or equivalent programme management certification • Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and delivering business value
