Procurement Officer

Responsibilities: Identifying what goods, services, or works are needed by the company Collaborate with team members to ensure the specifications and expectations of the company. Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records. Reviewing, comparing, and analyzing products and services to be purchased. Negotiating with suppliers to ensure the best deal. Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports. Preparing and managing purchase orders in accordance with the company s needs and budget. Monitoring and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery. Managing relationships with suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to terms of contracts/PO. Reviewing and managing the company s procurement strategy. Ensuring all procurement activities adhere to company policy. Maintaining and updating supplier database. Assessing, managing, and mitigating risks in procurement process. Qualifications Diploma/Bachelors degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field. Any professional certifications in procurement are added advantage. Minimum 4 years of experience as a procurement officer. Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques. Talent in negotiations and networking. Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software. Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers. Experience in collecting and analyzing data. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
