Procurement Manager

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business requirements. • Manage the complete procurement cycle, including sourcing, vendor selection, purchase orders, and delivery. • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable contract terms. • Manage supplier relationships, contracts, delivery schedules, and performance. • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency. • Monitor procurement budgets, spending, and purchasing activities. • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely availability of materials and services. • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and contractual requirements. • Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports on costs, savings, and supplier performance. • Assess supplier risks and develop alternative sourcing options when required. • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, and vendor management. • Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations. • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, purchase orders, cost control, and budget management. • Demonstrated ability to negotiate favourable commercial terms and achieve cost savings. • Experience managing multiple suppliers and procurement activities independently. • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/procurement systems such as SAP or Oracle. • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and meet procurement deadlines. • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. • UAE/GCC procurement experience and CIPS certification will be an advantage.
