If you need a system handed to you before you can operate — this is not the right place. **The Role** This role exists so the plant never stops because something didn't show up. You own the relationships and the judgment calls upstream of production — every kilo of fruit and every roll of packaging that arrives on time is this role working. This is not a data\-entry job. It's an early\-warning system for the entire supply chain, and it's judged on nothing ever running out. **What You Will Do** → Place and track purchase orders for fruit and packaging against the daily production schedule → Build and maintain supplier relationships at the Dubai Fruit and Vegetable Market and beyond → Compare pricing, quality, and reliability across vendors — and act on what you find → Inspect or coordinate inspection of incoming goods against quality criteria → Flag supply risk — price spikes, quality issues, delivery delays — the same day you spot it → Maintain accurate purchasing records for cost tracking **Apply If You** ✓ Have worked in procurement, purchasing, or supply coordination — formally or informally ✓ Can negotiate a better price or better terms without being told to ✓ Notice when a supplier's quality is slipping before it becomes a production problem ✓ Are comfortable with spreadsheets and vendor comparisons without hand\-holding ✓ Follow through until something is actually resolved, not just logged ✓ Have never let a shortage catch you by surprise **Do Not Apply If You** ✗ Wait to be told what to reorder instead of tracking it yourself ✗ Find negotiating with suppliers uncomfortable ✗ Consider "the supplier said it's coming" good enough without confirming ✗ Need a fixed daily routine — sourcing problems don't arrive on schedule ✗ Have never worked directly with vendors or suppliers ✗ Let small quality issues slide because raising them feels like a hassle **Benefits** Competitive salary commensurate with experience Visa sponsorship and UAE residency provided Medical insurance in line with UAE Labour Law requirements 30 days annual leave per UAE Labour Law Performance bonus tied to delivery quality and operational impact Work Location: In person
