Primary/Homeroom Teacher

Employment type: Full-time Workplace: On-site Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary/Homeroom Teacher to join our on-site team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, manage a homeroom, and support the academic and personal development of primary-aged pupils. Key Responsibilities • Plan and deliver effective, age-appropriate lessons across the primary curriculum, ensuring learning objectives are clear and achievable. • Lead a homeroom, providing pastoral care, monitoring pupil wellbeing and fostering a positive classroom environment. • Assess, record and report pupil progress regularly, using assessment data to inform planning and provide targeted support. • Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners, including pupils with additional educational needs and varying abilities. • Manage behaviour positively and consistently, promoting high standards of conduct and mutual respect. • Communicate effectively with parents and carers about pupil progress and concerns, maintaining professional relationships. • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, share best practice and contribute to whole-school initiatives. • Maintain accurate classroom records, prepare reports, and support school administrative processes as required. • Support school events, extracurricular activities and enrichment programmes to enhance pupil experience. • Uphold safeguarding policies and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment. Qualifications • Bachelor s degree in Education or a related subject, or equivalent professional teaching qualification. • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification is desirable. • Previous experience teaching primary-aged pupils, with a strong understanding of primary teaching methods and classroom management. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage pupils and parents effectively. • Ability to plan, assess and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and curriculum requirements. • Good organisational skills, attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently. • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with up-to-date knowledge of best practice. • A proactive, reflective approach to professional development and teamwork.
