Basic Scope of Job
• Network Engineer experience in designing, deploying, and managing network and cloud infrastructure for a fast-growing FinTech across different markets.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Network Architecture & Implementation: Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers. Support cloud services with Kubernetes and manage on-premise infrastructure using Ansible and Linux automation.
• Documentation: Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for network topologies, infrastructure setups, and processes.
• Network Security & Operations: Implement robust network security measures, manage S2S/IPSec VPN tunnels, configure firewalls, and oversee routing, switching, and DNS operations.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, contributing as a hands-on team player with strong communication skills.
Requirements
• Experience of proven track in network engineering relevant to infrastructure and cloud operations.
Technical Skills:
• Deep expertise in networking including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and load balancing.
• Kubernetes networking and security.
• Experience with AWS / Azure cloud networking (Vnets/VPCs, NSGs/SGs, Azure Firewall/WAF, NatGWs).
• IaC: Expertise in using Ansible for configuration management and Terraform for cloud infrastructure or similar.
• Strong Linux understanding.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, NATing, and network security appliances — experience with pfSense, FortiGate, or similar is required.
• Strong understanding of network monitoring tools such as Zabbix, SolarWinds, Nagios or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or ArgoCD .
Additional Valuable Skills:
• On-premises infrastructure administration including virtualization and server management.
• Experience with on-prem setup and backbone WANs
