Job description
**Internship\- Strategic Communications**
*Graduate / Entry\-Level Role*
**About Threshold**
At Threshold, our diverse team is united by a common goal: to redefine the landscape of strategic communications through a collaborative, innovative, and client\-centric approach. Our team came together with a shared purpose and a commitment to deliver excellence built on trust, synergy and ethos. Our strategies, implemented by a team renowned for delivering outcomes, act as catalysts that enable clients to drive change and create meaningful impact.
**Role Overview**
This is an introductory role for talented graduates looking to build a career in strategic communications. The position is centred on media monitoring, media report creation, and drafting communications, giving you a strong foundation in how a strategic communications team operates day\-to\-day. Alongside this core focus, you will have the opportunity to work across Threshold’s full\-service agency – including digital, written and visual content, design and production – gaining broad exposure while working closely with experienced professionals.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Monitor local, regional and international media (print, broadcast, online and social) for client, industry and competitor coverage
* Compile and produce clear, accurate media monitoring reports and coverage summaries on a daily/weekly basis
* Draft communications materials such as media reports, talking points, statements and internal updates in both Arabic and English
* Support translation and quality checks of communications materials between Arabic and English
* Collaborate with the wider agency team on integrated campaigns spanning digital, written and visual content
* Coordinate with design and production teams to support the development of campaign materials
* Track media and industry trends to help inform client reporting and strategy
* Support day\-to\-day account coordination, including timelines and deliverables
**Ideal Candidate**
* Recent graduate in Communications, Journalism, Media, Public Relations or a related field
* Fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English (essential)
* Strong writing, editing and summarising skills, with close attention to detail and accuracy
* Good research skills and genuine interest in media and current affairs
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Eager to learn, proactive, and enthusiastic about a career in strategic communications
* Exposure to design or content tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) is an advantage, not a requirement
**What We Offer**
* A structured introduction to strategic communications, with a clear focus on media monitoring and reporting
* Hands\-on experience on real client accounts from day one
* Exposure to a full\-service agency – digital, written and visual content, design and production
* Mentorship and professional development opportunities
* A creative and inclusive work environment
* This is a paid 6\-month internship with the opportunity for a permanent role at the end of the contract
