Operator and supervisor

We are looking for a **Supervisor / Operator** to work at a **Used Oil Recycling Plant in Sohar**. Minimum qualifications and experience: - A minimum of a diploma or technical certificate in **Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering** or any related specialization. - Experience of **two to three years** in factories and industrial facilities, preferably experience in **recycling used oils or lubricants, refineries or chemical plants**. - Ability to **read, write and communicate in English**, with basic proficiency in computer use, including **MS Word, Excel and email**. - القدرة على قراءة وفهم ومراقبة **لوحات PLC / HMI / SCADA** ومتابعة معايير التشغيل. - Basic knowledge of **mechanical and maintenance work (Fitter)**, including pumps, valves, motors, tanks, filters and pipelines. - Basic knowledge of **electrical** work, including motors, **MCC** boards, sensors, and basic troubleshooting and repair. - Ability to read and understand **Basic Piping and Instrumentation (P&ID) Diagrams** and Process Flow Diagrams. - Monitoring plant operation, including **temperature, pressure, vacuum, flow and tank levels**. - Conducting regular inspection tours of the factory, examining the equipment, and ensuring its operational status. - Identifying and reporting any **mechanical, electrical or operational process-related malfunctions or abnormalities**. - Supervising operators according to production requirements. - Preparing and maintaining **daily production records, shift reports and equipment records**. - Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operating instructions, and ensuring efficient and continuous operation of the plant. - Ability to work in an industrial environment including **heat, noise, equipment, machinery, oils, and indoor and outdoor operating areas**. - The ability to conduct regular inspection tours of the factory and check equipment during operation. - Be prepared to work on a shift system, including weekends and public holidays when needed
