Offshore Drilling Rig / Barge Positioning Surveyor

• Execute precise real-time positioning of drilling rigs and barges using advanced GNSS and acoustic systems, ensuring operational safety and efficiency. • Conduct detailed bathymetric and sub-bottom profiling surveys to assess seabed conditions and identify potential hazards for drilling operations. • Install, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated positioning equipment, including DGPS, USBL, LBL, and motion reference units, troubleshooting issues promptly. • Process and analyze vast datasets from various sensors to generate accurate positioning reports, charts, and quality control documentation. • Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Hydrography, Surveying, or a related technical field. • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in offshore positioning and surveying, specifically within the oil and gas drilling sector. • Possession of relevant professional certifications (e.g., RICS, FIG/IHO Category A) is highly desirable. • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting advanced positioning systems (e.g., Fugro, Teledyne, iXblue) and hydrographic software (e.g., HYPACK, QINSy).
