MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop programs within designated area(s) of the Nursing Services Department in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and evidence-based practices.
• Develop and promote standards and objectives for Nursing Education that support the goals of the Nursing Services Department. Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate orientation, in-service, and continuing education programs.
• Ensure quality assurance of clinical facilitator sessions related to Competency-Based Learning (CBL), linking educational programs to clinical practice.
• Develop and conduct educational and training programs as required. Deliver classroom and clinical teaching using adult learning principles and innovative teaching strategies to enhance the learning environment.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate identified needs for new educational programs and revise existing ones as necessary.
• Develop and maintain instructional and reference materials relevant to the needs of Nursing Services personnel.
• Assist in the development of the annual educational calendar.
• Participate in the development and review of patient care standards, policies, and procedures.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate student placements, internships, and new graduate residency programs for Saudi nurses, including follow-up in assigned clinical areas during placements.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement, accreditation, and patient safety initiatives.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Bachelor Degree in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Current registration as a professional registered nurse.
Specific Certification as required in area of assignment/education.
Eligible for registration with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
Minimum of 6 (six) years nursing experience in a comparable health care facility/ organisation, 2 (two) years of which in similar role
