NOC Officer

• Seeking a proactive Monitoring & Support Engineer to manage alerts, incidents, and basic server/network checks. The candidate will handle infrastructure monitoring, incident response, documentation, and ensure timely communications, while also assisting in basic server and AD-level tasks. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor alerts across tools and take appropriate action (e.g., node restarts, false positive filtering). • Respond to and resolve incidents within SLA timelines. • Manage ticket lifecycle: reassignment, resolution, and closure. • Perform basic Windows server checks: failover, services, utilization. • Assist with user/group management via AD and Exchange. • Maintain updated SOPs, trackers, and incident documentation. • Communicate critical incidents (P1/P2) clearly within timelines. • Follow professional email and phone etiquette during escalations. • Basic server admin (Windows), networking, and clustering knowledge. • Familiarity with application monitoring and error code interpretation. • Working knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange. • Strong English communication (written and verbal). • Good documentation, stress handling, and decision-making skills. • Perform Linux server health • Troubleshoot Linux-related alerts, service failures, and performance degradation. • Execute basic Linux administration tasks using shell commands. • Monitor and validate cluster/failover status where applicable. • Support patch validation and server operational checks. Preferred Certifications: • CompTIA Server+, Network+ • Microsoft MCSA / MCSE • ITIL Foundation
