Operational Roles & Responsibilities Receive bodies from clinical wards, verifying "Dual Identifier" tags and documenting chain of custody in the Morgue Register Monitor and record temperature and humidity levels of cold chambers based on policies and procedures; report deviations immediately Coordinate terminal cleaning and disinfection of storage units, hydraulic lifts, and surfaces using hospital-grade agents Apply specific MOH precautions (shrouding/bagging) for High-Risk Infectious bodies (e.g., COVID-19, MERS) Assist forensic authorities with body identification and sample preservation when police cases occur Physically release bodies to families or municipality services Minimum Education Required Diploma or Associate Degree Professional Certifications Required Valid SCFHS Registration Years of Experience 0-2 years of experience in health care.
