Mid-Level SAP Integration Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Integration Consultant to join an exciting enterprise transformation programme in Abu Dhabi, working at the intersection of SAP Integration, AI and next-generation enterprise architecture . This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional SAP integrations and help shape how AI agents securely interact with enterprise SAP systems , including S/4HANA and SuccessFactors. You ll play a key role in designing and delivering secure, scalable integration solutions using SAP BTP, Integration Suite, API Management and OData , while exploring emerging technologies such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agentic AI. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop and manage integrations using SAP Integration Suite (CPI/Cloud Integration) and SAP API Management. • Build and expose secure OData services, API proxies and integration flows (iFlows) across SAP and non-SAP applications. • Develop custom APIs for SAP S/4HANA , including CDS-based OData services, RFC/BAPI integrations and ABAP-based endpoints. • Enable secure connectivity between SAP systems and AI-powered applications and autonomous agents . • Explore and implement MCP Gateway / MCP Server capabilities to support AI-agent integration. • Design robust API security and governance frameworks, including OAuth2, XSUAA, authentication, authorisation and access controls. • Collaborate with AI engineering, platform and business teams to define integration requirements and API contracts. • Ensure data security, auditability and compliance across AI-driven integrations, particularly for sensitive HR and financial data. • Troubleshoot, monitor and optimise enterprise integration services. Required Skills & Experience • 3-5 years of hands-on SAP integration experience , including SAP PI/PO, CPI or SAP Integration Suite. • Strong expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite , Cloud Integration and API Management. • Proven experience developing iFlows, API proxies and OData services (v2/v4) . • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA integrations , CDS Views, RFC/BAPI and custom API development. • Experience integrating SAP SuccessFactors and other enterprise applications. • Knowledge of integration adapters and protocols including REST, SOAP, HTTP, IDoc, RFC and SFTP. • Strong understanding of SAP BTP security , OAuth2, XSUAA, Destination Service and principal propagation. • Experience designing secure APIs for external platforms and third-party applications. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with technical teams and business stakeholders. Highly Desirable • Exposure to Agentic AI, Generative AI or AI-driven enterprise applications . • Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP), MCP Servers or AI agent tool integration . • Experience designing APIs specifically for AI agents or intelligent automation platforms. • Knowledge of enterprise API governance, data masking, audit logging and least-privilege access. You ll have the opportunity to work on an innovative programme bringing together SAP enterprise systems and emerging AI technologies , helping define how intelligent agents access, interact with and automate complex business processes.
