MEP ESTIMATION

• Analyze architectural and engineering drawings to accurately quantify mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials and labor requirements for diverse projects. • Develop detailed cost estimates by applying appropriate unit costs, labor rates, and productivity factors to quantified items. • Collaborate with project managers and design teams to understand project scope, identify potential value engineering opportunities, and mitigate risks. • Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, ensuring all technical specifications, exclusions, and assumptions are clearly articulated. • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or equivalent are highly advantageous. • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in MEP estimating within the commercial construction sector. • Proven track record of successfully estimating complex MEP systems for large-scale projects.
