MEP Draftsman

This is a full-time, on-site role for an MEP Draftsman / Electrical Design Engineer located in Dubai. The role involves designing electrical systems and power distribution for various projects, including luxury villa, and Highrise building ensuring compliance with local and international engineering standards. Responsibilities include developing detailed technical designs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, analyzing project requirements, and providing solutions to meet project objectives. Additionally, the engineer will regularly communicate with construction team to ensure project needs are met efficiently and effectively. Qualifications · Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering · Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design. LV & HV · Must be a member of Society of Engineers and accredited by DEWA · Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, and related tools · Strong understanding of local and international codes and standards including: DEWA, DM, DCD, Dubai Building Code, ASHRAE, NFPA etc. · Strong communication and coordination skills · Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative work environment
