Medical Equipment Specialist

Job Summary: Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating medical equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation in hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities. Key Responsibilities: Install, test, and commission medical equipment and devices. Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and safety inspections. Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions and technical issues. Conduct regular equipment performance and functionality checks. Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and repair documentation. Coordinate with healthcare staff to understand equipment concerns and provide technical support. Train users on the proper and safe operation of medical equipment. Ensure equipment complies with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for technical support, spare parts, and warranty concerns. Monitor inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and urgent service requests. Recommend equipment replacement, upgrades, or improvements when necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Medical Technology, or a related field. Experience in medical equipment installation, maintenance, or repair is preferred. Strong troubleshooting and technical problem\-solving skills. Knowledge of medical equipment, electrical systems, electronics, and diagnostic tools. Good communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and coordinate with medical and technical teams. Willingness to travel between healthcare facilities when required. Pay: KD900\.000 per month Work Location: In person
