MECHANICAL INSPECTOR Company: KN International Location: Liwa, Western Region, Abu Dhabi Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary KN International is seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector for a villa construction project in Liwa, Abu Dhabi. The role involves inspecting and monitoring mechanical installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations. Candidates must have relevant UAE experience in villa or building construction, mechanical installations, and site inspection, with a strong understanding of quality control procedures. Key Responsibilities • Conduct site inspections of mechanical installation works in villas and buildings to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. • Inspect HVAC systems, ventilation equipment, piping, and associated mechanical installations. • Inspect plumbing, drainage, water supply, and sanitary installations to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications. • Verify the installation of mechanical equipment, fixtures, and components to ensure proper workmanship and compliance with approved materials. • Review and respond to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors. • Identify defects and non-conformities, prepare inspection reports, and follow up on corrective actions. • Review contractor shop drawings, material submittents, method statements, and risk assessments related to mechanical works. • Monitor mechanical testing and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project requirements. • Ensure mechanical installations comply with applicable UAE regulations, authority requirements, project specifications, and HSE standards. • Maintain accurate records of site inspections, daily activities, testing results, and quality issues. • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to resolve site-related technical issues. • Attend progress meetings and provide updates on mechanical works, inspection findings, and quality concerns. • Diploma or Bacheloru2019s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical inspection, with experience in villa/building construction projects in the UAE . • Strong knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, drainage, and water supply systems in residential buildings. • Experience in site inspections, quality control, and mechanical testing and commissioning procedures. • Familiarity with UAE mechanical and building regulations, authority requirements, construction standards, and project specifications. • Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
