Mechanical Enclosure Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer specializing in diesel generator enclosures and fuel tanks for Cummins, Perkins, and other generator brands. Requirements: • Expertise in acoustic enclosures, sheet-metal canopies, and base-frame fuel tank design. • Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. • Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, fabrication drawings, BOMs, welding, and sheet-metal manufacturing. • Understanding of ventilation, noise attenuation, fuel tank capacity, and generator packaging. • Experience with generator OEM specifications and manufacturing processes. • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. • minimum 5 year plus experience in enclosure and fuel tanks designs. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software. • Strong knowledge of sheet metal design, bending allowances, welding symbols, fabrication methods, and material specifications. • Experience preparing detailed fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs. • Knowledge of acoustic enclosures, generator canopies, ventilation layouts, and equipment mounting arrangements
