Mechanic – Heavy Vehicle

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in heavy-duty trucks, buses, and specialized vehicles. • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, brake adjustments, and tire rotations, ensuring vehicles operate at peak performance. • Conduct thorough inspections and pre-trip checks to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations. • Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagnostic reports to accurately pinpoint and resolve vehicle malfunctions. • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in heavy vehicle mechanics is highly preferred. • Hold relevant certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) in medium/heavy duty truck or specific manufacturer training. • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a heavy vehicle mechanic, with a proven track record of diagnosing and repairing complex issues. • Demonstrated expertise in diesel engine repair, drivetrains, braking systems, and electrical troubleshooting for commercial vehicles.
