Material Encoder

Ensure accurate, timely, and systematic encoding of material data into project systems (ERP/database), supporting procurement, warehouse, and construction teams by maintaining reliable material records and documentation • Verify data by comparing it to source documents, and check for any discrepancies or errors before entry. • Organize and maintain files and databases, ensuring all records are up-to-date and easily accessible in EDMS. • Perform regular data entry tasks, including updating information, creating new records, and deleting obsolete ones. • Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all systems. • Identify and report any data-related issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor. • Adhere to the company's data entry and security policies, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of information. • Familiarity with Construction materials (pipes, valves, fittings, cables, structural, E&I items) • Assist in the creation of standardized procedures and guidelines for data entry processes. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. -2-5 years of experience in materials encoder or data entry / encoding in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects. • Familiarity with ERP systems. • Exceptional typing and data entry skills, with a minimum typing speed of [50 words per minute] Proven experience as an Encoder or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and coordination abilities. Proficient computer skills, including a strong command of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Ability to multitask and work independently under pressure Familiarity with data entry software and tools is a plus.
