Material Controller - Walkin Chennai

Responsible for controlling the flow of materials received from clients and Company Suppliers and deliver to the construction team according to Company policies and procedures. Receive, inspect and store materials and deliver to applicable personnel on the project according to the project schedule and co-ordinate with Quality Control and Procurement Departments. Ensure the availability of a minimum stock of regular materials. Ensure the consistent supply of materials to the construction. Ensure the inventory is held at minimum levels to reduce storage costs. Responsible for receiving stocks repeated material as per norms. Material Accounting – project & assets Preservation & storing practices Perpetual inventory Annual stock taking Annual Material handling system Right off proposal for excess & obsolete item Skills: Proficient in MS Office Package Planning & Organizing Documentation Working knowledge of ERP is an added advantage Candidates having exposure to EPC Oil & Gas companies in the Middle East would be given preference. Preferred NP – 15 Days, 1 month, Nil Eligibility Criteria ✔ Experience in Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore ✔ Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred ✔ Clean-shaven policy applicable ❌ Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible Age Criteria: • Maximum age limit is 49 years • For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience Managerial and SR. Positions: • A minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory
