Marine Purchasing Officer

This is a temporary position based in Doha, Qatar. **What we're looking for** -------------------------- **Qualifications \& Experience** * Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related discipline * 4–8 years of experience procuring materials, equipment, and spare parts at least 3 years within the Marine or Shipping industry * Exposure to vessel requirements and time\-critical marine operations * Sound understanding of procurement processes, supply chain operations, and materials management * CIPS, ISM, or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred **Skills \& Competencies** * Marine equipment, vessel spare parts, and technical materials sourcing * Supplier quotation review and commercial evaluation * Purchase order processing and delivery coordination * Urgent vessel requisition management * Vendor negotiation, cost control, and supplier evaluation * SAP or similar e\-procurement system proficiency * Tendering, compliance, audit, and performance\-monitoring knowledge * Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder coordination capabilities
