Marine Procurement Category Officer

This is a temporary position based in Doha, Qatar. **What we're looking for** -------------------------- **Qualifications \& Experience** * Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline * Minimum 3 years of experience in Marine Procurement * Relevant experience in a similar role within a recognized maritime or shipping organization * Strong background in strategic sourcing, category management, contract management, and vendor management * Knowledge of marine vendors, maritime operations, and relevant industry regulations * Exposure to LPG, LNG, shipping, offshore, or vessel\-management operations is preferred * CIPS or an equivalent professional qualification is an advantage **Skills \& Competencies** * Category strategy development and implementation * End\-to\-end sourcing and contract lifecycle management * Commercial negotiation, renewals, and contract amendments * Supplier evaluation, relationship management, and KPI monitoring * Market analysis, spend benchmarking, and cost optimization * Procurement risk, compliance, and governance oversight * Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and procurement platforms * AMOS knowledge is an advantage * Strong analytical, stakeholder\-management, and problem\-solving capabilities
