Job description

The Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating machine tools to manufacture and repair precision components used in oil & gas equipment. The role ensures all work meets Engineering requirements and Saudi Aramco standards for quality, safety, and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Operate conventional and CNC machines (lathe, milling, drilling, grinding). Manufacture and repair parts for pumps, valves, and rotating equipment Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications Measure finished parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers) Ensure compliance with Aramco standards (SAES, GI) and QA/QC requirements Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting Follow HSE procedures and permit-to-work systems Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualification Background: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Machining (or equivalent) Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in oil & gas industry Knowledge of manual and CNC machining Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments Familiarity with Aramco standards is preferred
